Melanie Guthrie is an award-winning Digital Marketer with a passion for luxury brand marketing and helping multicultural brands and small businesses thrive online. She is committed to storytelling and championing the representation of people of color in the digital space. Recently, she was named “32 Under 32 in Dallas Marketing” by Ad2, a national marketing organization.
With over 10 years of marketing experience, Melanie’s background includes the development and execution of global, industry-leading social media strategies, branding, and event campaigns to increase brand awareness, traffic, and revenue across marketing channels.
Melanie has worked on the social media strategy for a multitude of large, luxury brands, including Lexus, AMC Theatres, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Frito-Lay, LivingSocial, and more. As her day job, Melanie leads the day-to-day social media strategy and execution for the Lexus automotive brand, reaching over 1 million fans per week.
Melanie is Howard University educated and originally from the Chicagoland area. She now resides in Dallas, TX with her husband, dog, and cat. She believes that every day is a reason to celebrate and enjoys building authentic relationships, and spending time with family and friends.
